Booking

We use GymDesk as a unified portal for you to manage packages, booking places in classes, attendance / checking in, and tracking payments. Here are the steps.

Already have an account and just need to book a class? Select a class and confirm your booking with your registered email, name, and phone.

Create an Account

If you do not yet have an account at the booking portal, create an account by clicking the signup button. You will then see a form; only the items labelled * are required. You can always edit them later.

If you are signing up for group class packages, you can choose them here. You can leave this blank and complete at a later time.

Private class package selections are available after registration. Please register for an account, and contact me to discuss your needs.

You should then receive an email to acknowledge that an account was created for you.

Login to Members Portal

You only need to create an account once. Once you have an account, you can login with the following button. You may wish to bookmark the link.

If you forget your password (happens to all of us!), you can also login with an email authentication code:

Members Portal

A screen of the membership portal is shown below. (A bit of tango lore: Carlos Gardel, born in 1890 in Buenos Aires, is the most famous Tango singer. You probably have heard Por una Cabeza and Volver; that is his music. Alfredo Le Pera wrote many of the lyrics for him.) The following shows how you would (1) sign-up for a package of class, (2) use the package to book a class. For private sessions we need to find a time that works for both of us, and follow a slightly different process.

1. Selecting packages / memberships

A “membership”, in Gymdesk parlance, is a package of classes that you purchase.

Once you have selected a package (the list is now longer with all the options!), it will show up in this middle box, including the number of sessions remaining and the package’s expiry date (group classes are valid for 3 months from date of purchase). The package selected will impact what classes you can book.

2. Book classes

Once you have registered for a package, you can use it to book classes of the same package. After clicking on the “book a class” button, you will see a schedule and can book (reserve a spot) in the class. If a class is full, you will be given an option to be wait-listed.

Booking consumes a session. If a booking is cancelled with 24 hour notice, it is automatically restored for use.

3. Check / settle payment

An invoice is created for each membership selected, and you can click on the invoice button to view its status.

You can settle the invoice by cash, bank transfer, or PayMe.

It is also possible to pay by credit card, but note that there is a 4% surcharge to cover the payment processor fees.
